The Carlsbad Charitable Foundation (CCF) is honored to be featured in the San Diego Union-Tribune for our recent 2025 Annual Grant Awards, where we proudly awarded $80,000 to six incredible nonprofits making a meaningful difference in the lives of Carlsbad families.

This year’s grant cycle focused on supporting the health, safety, and well-being of children and families—many of whom are navigating increased economic and social pressures. Our recipients reflect the best of what local philanthropy can accomplish when neighbors come together to support one another. As shared by the Union-Tribune, “The grants ranged from $7,000 to $18,500 and will go to programs that foster the health and well-being of Carlsbad families, including mental health, childcare, prevention of domestic violence and food and shelter for those in need.”

Meet Our 2025 Grantees

  • Foundation for Women Warriors – Providing critical support for women veterans and their children as they transition to civilian life.
  • Kids’ Turn San Diego – Empowering children experiencing family separation to build resilience and emotional health.
  • Olive Crest – Preventing family crises and supporting foster placements through their Strong Families program.
  • ProduceGood – Fighting hunger and food waste through youth-led gleaning programs and nutrition education.
  • Sleep in Heavenly Peace – Building and delivering beds to ensure every child in Carlsbad has a place to sleep.
  • Women’s Resource Center – Offering shelter and trauma-informed care for families escaping domestic violence.

Children and families in Carlsbad are facing many new challenges in the current economy and climate. We are so pleased to support these wonderful organizations and their work in Carlsbad!
