Grantmaking

Annually, the Grants Committee and the CCF board reviews and approves proposals through a competitive grants process, after which the entire membership votes to determine the grantees.

Carlsbad Charitable Foundation
2026-2027 Grant Cycle

For the 2026-2027 grant cycle, Carlsbad Charitable Foundation (CCF) is accepting proposals for programs that promote the development and growth of arts and culture through performing and/or visual arts. Grant requests from a minimum of $15,000 up to $40,000 in funding may be awarded. The application deadline is 5:00 p.m., Monday, March 2, 2026.

Grants Celebration Program

Since 2007, more than $4 million has been granted to nonprofits serving Escondido, including contributions made to After-the-Fire Fund. ECF also partnered with the City of Escondido to grant $1.5 million to nonprofit organizations that serve the city.
